The majesty of the many-acre yard is tempered only by its intricacy; I spent more than one afternoon getting completed lost among the secret mini-gardens pleasantly accompanied by the gurgling sound of antique-looking fountains.

And the guest rooms here are amazing. Situated mostly in the six villas, each one measuring three floors, the visitor habitations feature balconies with sweeping views of the Sea, the gardens and more. With first class amenities topping the charts in terms of everything else that the island has to offer, the Ritz Carlton offers soft and fuzzy comfort in everything right down to the pillow cases and the bed sheets.
