As you approach (assuming that it is a Thursday night - or a Tuesday night) you may here the wild beating of a steel drum hearkening the nearness of this virtual tropical island pleasure palace.

Once seating, throw back the famous mix drink that this restaurant is so proud of - it's a fantastic combination of rum, Midori, pineapple juice and a touch of that oh-so-special something that keeps happy island vacationers like you coming back for more. And as the internal smile begins to well up within you, you'll be primed just right to take a hungry look at one of best-looking menus on the island.

While it is full of savory temptations, I will have to step in right now to help you out by making a recommendation. Pardon me if I raise my voice, as I've got a lot of competition given the live band and the cheerful din of the clientele that has packed this popular restaurant to the brim... Go with the crab!

Here at Agavé Terrace Caribbean, you can try it out in its many different forms. As an initial appetizer, the crab is deliciously sided by juicy and sumptuous shrimp delights and fritters made from conch. But, as they say, man cannot live by crab alone. And unfortunately, you will have to guide yourself from here on in. That's because the choices are so savory, that to hold one plate above the other would be simply dishonest - they're all so great!

That said, I'll try to run down the list of all of the wonderful menu items offered here at Agavé Terrace Caribbean. Grilled to perfection, happy visitors like you can take part in the juicy steaks - strip from New York or the tenderloin love feast. When it comes to sea food, make sure that the Mahi Mahi, Ahi Tuna or the shrimp is the day's catch before delving into any of the incredible dishes made from these meats.

Visit this fabulous restaurant which is housed by the Point Pleasant Resort, and located on the northern coast of the island of St. Thomas.
